The “Basketball for Girls in Schools Programme” is a five-year national initiative (2026-2030) dedicated to promoting Basketball among girls in Rwanda. Targeting girls aged 12 to 15, the programme will focus on both girls-only schools and mixed schools with existing girls’ Basketball teams, aiming to significantly increase participation, enhance skills, and open competitive pathways for young female athletes.
This programme targets children and youth aged between 3 and 17 years from selected Martial Arts Academies across the country with purpose of introducing to them the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and core life values through Martial Arts.
We believe that the power of sport can solve some of the world’s toughest challenges. While others see a game, we see a classroom, a clinic, and a community.
